The New Zealand Renegades delivered the round's largest victory, beating the Northern Marlins 28 to 6 in Christchurch. Tyler Keen scored inside three minutes before Blakeson Harrison answered for Northern. From there, New Zealand took control.
Rohky Rivaz crossed twice around halftime, Jett Mercer added another, and Jye McCartney completed the scoring in the 77th minute. McCartney converted four of the five tries.
