Stingrays turn control into a six-try surge

South Coast completed 27 of 30 sets, gained 1,350 metres and ran in six tries to beat Northern 36 to 12.

South Coast produced a powerful six-try performance to beat Northern 36 to 12. The Stingrays held 56 percent possession, completed at 90 percent and finished with 33 line breaks.

Wally Allen was player of the match after a try, 380 running metres, four tackle breaks and five line breaks. Big Beefer scored twice and Ashton Crutcher supplied six conversions.

Northern found tries through Mark Henry and Josh Pretzel, but 169 tackles and 47 misses reflected the pressure created by South Coast possession and momentum.
